MOSCOW, Jan 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s major airline Aeroflot faces a prosecution probe after a check that demonstrated flight cancellation violations in 2016, Moscow’s Prosecutor’s Office said on Thursday.
The check took place in the wake of a media report that Aeroflot cancelled 128 flights on December 5-7 due to “traffic optimization”. Besides, on October 29-31 the company delayed three flights for over three hours.
